Lee Payton

Lee trained at Jellicoe Theatre in Poole and recently completed an Advanced Acting Diploma at the Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
At College he appeared in 'The Cherry Orchard' as Trofimov, directed by Mrtin Houghton, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' as Demetrius and Flute (directed by Jamie Garren), 'Nana' as Bordenare, Steiner, Gerard and Jupiter (directed by Deppie Seymour) nd 'The Fairy Queen' as theseus directed by Robin Midgely at the Sherman Theatre Cardiff.
He has also appeared in 'Romeo and Juliet' as Tybult and Paris for Seachange Theatre Compnay in Bournemouth.
Alexander Giles

Alexander Giles trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.  Recent theatre work includes 'Cinderella' (Theatre Royal, Wakefeild), 'Dorian' (Arts Theatre, WE), 'Lady Godiva' (King's Head), 'The Cradle Will Rock' (BAC), 'Love In A Wood' (New End, Hampstead) and 'The Jungle Book' (Gardner Arts, Brighton), where he played Mowgli.
TV work includes 'The Bill' and 'Galois' Legacy' in which he played Galois.

Darren Clewlow

Darren trained at the Birmingham School of Speech & Drama.  His theatre credits include: 2 previous tours of "Joseph", a Christmas season at Leatherhead, "Robin - Prince of Sherwood" on tour and in the West End.  Television credits include:  Milos Laslo in "Heatbeat" for Yorkshire TV, "The Bill" - Thames TV, ""The Chronicles of Narnia" and "Howards Way" for the BBC.

James Nash

James trained at The London School of Musical Theatre.  Theatre work includes 'Babes in the Wood' (Alan A Dale) and 'Applause' (Dany) both for the Concordia Theatre - Leicester. At the Bridewell Theatre James created the role of 'Uncle Tony' in the European Premiere of 'Lucky Stuff'.  James' most recent works includes a world wide cruise for P&O and a six month Mediterrannean season as lead vocalist for Airtours.

Adam Johnson

Adam's theatre credits include 'Kes! The Musical' and 'A Christmas Carol' ( Bolton Octagon), Romeo in 'Romeo and Juliet' (Suffolk Eye Theatre), Harry in ' Mr Wotsit' Channel Theatre), Idle Jack in 'Dick Whittington' and Silly Billy in 'Sleeping Beauty' for Upstage Pructions and most recently toured with Y Touring Theatre Company playing Jamie in 'Cracked'.  His Television wo includes 'Heartbeat', 'The Cops', 'Hollyoaks' and 'Knightschool'.  He can currently be seen as Our Kid's Brother in 'The Band Spanking New Harry Enfield Show' on Sky One and in the soon to be released feature film 'The Parole Officer'.

Lee Waterworth

Lee trained as a member of Purple Patch Productions, a repertory theatre company based in Manchester.  Lee made his professional stage debut with the UK national tour of 'Rent', in which he understudied the leading role of Roger.  'Rent' transferred to London's West End for a season at the Prince of Wales Theatre.  Other theatre work includes 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' (not sure what part he played or where as the programme just says Dreamcoat!!), 'Jesus Christ Superstar' (Simon Zealots), 'Cabaret' (Ernst Ludwig) and 'Rent in Concert' (Roger).
Also played Joseph in West End 2004 for two weeks.

Tomm Coles

Tomm was born in Nottingham and was educated at Trent College in Derbyshire.  After completeing a degree in drama with French at Hull University, he trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, recently graduating.  Since graduating Tomm has played Tybalt in Terry Hands 'Romeo and Juliet' at the Clwyd Theatre Cymru, Mold.  He then went on to spen the Christmas season at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester in Janice Dunn's 'Dick Whittington'.  He has performed at the Edinburgh Festival and appeared in a number of short films.  Whilst training Tomm's credits include Roer in 'Silence', Yepikhodov in 'The Cherry Orchard', Le Chevalier Danceny in 'Les Liasions Dangeruses', Don Perdo in 'Much Ado About Nothing ' and Clifford Bradshaw in 'Cabaret'.  Tomm has also performed in French and Spainish as well as many musical-based projects which involve his skill as a saxophonist and pianist.

Kieron Harris

Since graduating from The Guildford School of Acting, Kieron's credits include Solo Dancer at the Intel Pentium world conference, 'Mother Goose' (Perth Repertory Theatre), 'Cinderella', 'Mother Goose', 'Dick Whittington', Old Mother Milly' and 'Beauty and the Beast' (York Theatre Royal), Raim in 'Queen and the Rebels' ( The Mill Theatre, Guildford), John Perks in The Railway Children' (Charles Cryer Theatre, Carshalton) and Cord Elam in 'Oaklahoma!' (Aberystwyth Arts Centre).  Other work includes 'St John's Passion' (ENO) and the lead role of Criag in the national tour of  'Ladies' Night'.

Lee Mead

Lee trained professionally at the Whitehall Performing Arts College in Essex, on a three year musical theatre course.  Previous experience includes Singer/Dancer in 'My Pal Frank' the life story of Frank Sinatra(Palace Theatre, Westcliff), principal role of The Captain in the ballet 'Pineapple Poll'(Civ ic Theatre, Chelmsford), undertook the role of Wishee Washee in 'Aladdin'(Spa Theatre, Bridlington), Lead vocalist for Summer season '03(Spa Theatre, Bridlington), Lead vocalist for Potters Theatre Company(Potters Leisure Resort Norfolk), Singer/Dancer for P&O, and has undertaken the role of Laurence in Mike Leigh's classic 'Abigail's Party', at which he had the task of directing.  Lee has done various work for television including working with Dennis Waterman for the BBC drama series 'Murder in Mind', and has appeared as backing dancer for Geri Halliwell's music video 'Raining Men'. 

Lee won the part of Joseph for the new 2007 West End version of 'Joseph' on BBC 1's Any Dream Will Do.  For more information on Lee click here

Michael Martin

Michael trained at The Arts Educational Schools in London where he studied the three year Musical Theatre course.  He previously studied at the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts formally known as The Stage School of Scotland.  Whilst at Arts Ed Michael played parts such as Coach Johnson in 'Good News!' and Beekman in 'Lady in the Dark'.  Other theatre credits include 'The Third Annual Celebration of West End Musical Theatre'(Palace Theatre, London), 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' and 'Aladdin'(Mitchell Theatre, Glasgow)  and 'Let Me Entertain You'(Kings Theatre, Glasgow).  Michael also appeared in 'The Queen's Golden Jubilee Celebration Parade'.  He is pleased to be making his West End debut in 'Joseph.

Chris Holland

Chris trained at Kings College, Taunton (Music scholar).  Musical credits include Elwood in 'The Blues Brothers', 'Out of the Blue' (Shaftesbury Theatre, London), 'Miss Saigon' (Theatre Royal, Dury Lane), 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcot', 'The Music Man' (Little Theatre, Clevedon), 'Blondel (Brewhouse, Taunton), The Minstrel in 'The Mystery Plays' (Bristol).  Cabaret/Concert credits include 'West End Showstoppers' (national tour), guest performer with 'The Brotherhood of Man' and 'The Suzi Quatro Show' (Webbington, Bristol), solo performer with 'The Brother Lees Show', 'The Baron Knights Show'.

Paul Burnham

Presenter/Actor/Singer and native Yorkshireman Paul first became interested in Theatre at the tender age of 5 when he was taken to see a production of the Mikado.  Before the curtain fell on the first act Paul had made his mind up that he wanted to follow a life on the stage and by the age of 8 had already won First Prize in the Prestwick Millennium Talent Show with his impressions of Margaret Thatcher, David Bellamy and Kate Bush.  He followed this up by joining the Scottish Youth Theatre, The National Youth Theatre and the National Youth Music Theatre.  Making his professional stage debut and gaining his Equity card at 17 in the pantomime Aladdin, Paul then spent a season as a Redcoat at Butlin's before taking up the offer of a scholarship at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting.
During his first year at Guildford, Paul continued to receive many more offers of professional work and deciding that being a penniless student was not for him, he took the offer of his first summer season and went to Minehead for Smart Alec Productions who then cast him in the their National Tour of 'Pack Up Your Troubles'.  This was to be the first of many principal roles in National Tours. Including 'The Magical Musicals', 'West End to Broadway' and 'Irving Berlin, Everybody's Doing It'.  Creating the role of 'Henri' in the Sadler's Wells Theatre production of 'Viva O'Carnival', Paul then went on to play Phillipe/Beast in the National Tour of 'Beauty and the Beast' for which he received rave reviews.  Not only an accomplished musical theatre performer, he has also appeared with the prestigious Opera West Company in their productions of Carmen, Eugene Onegin and Nabucco.  Paul is also laughably proud to have appeared as the legendary Big Bird in the live stage version of Sesame Street's - Big Bird and the ABC's.  Paul's break as a television presenter came whilst touring in the national Tour of 'Joseph and His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' during which time he played the roles of Levi and the Butler.  Paul's creation 'Tommy Toon' and a host of other characters were seen in his series 'Toonatics' which he wrote and presented. 'Toonatics' was transmitted every weekday morning on Children's BBC  during the summer's of 1997/98.  Last year Paul sang solo in a big charity gala at the Lyceum Theatre in London's West End where he stopped the show. The next day he started rehearsals for 'The Rock-n-Roll Experience'. On the last day of that show he started rehearsals for 'Dick Whittington' in Richmond where he played Idle Jack.  He has just finished doing "Façade" with the 'London Symphony', and is about to start rehearsals for 'Grease' in which he will be playing, Teen Angel  and Vince Fontaine.   He has appeared as a featured soloist on many cast and concept albums including 'Joseph', and 'Beauty and the Beast'.  TV/Film credits include: 'A Dance To The Music Of Time' (C4), 'Down Among The Big Boys' (BBC), 'Taggart' (STV), 'Rab C Nesbitt' (BBC), 'Take The High Road' (STV) and 'The High Life' (BBC).

Gareth Chart

Gareth trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.  Whilst at Mountview his roles included The Wiz in 'The Wiz',  Henrik in 'A Little Night Music', Richie in 'A Chorus Line' and Billy Crocker in 'Anything Goes'.  'Joseph' marks Gareth's professional debut.

George Miller

George trained at the London School of Musical Theatre, graduating with distinction.  Prior to this George studied performing arts at King Alfred's College, gaining a BA (Hons) in the subject.  Previous experience includes creating the role of Buddy Rogers in the world premiere of 'Brenda Bly:Teen Detective', and most recently performing off-Broadway in the new Charles Miller and Kenvin Hammonds musical revue 'Build Me a Bridge'.

Brian Graves


London born Brian trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, on the Musical Theatre (3 year course) in London.  He has appeared in many theatre productions since he graduated, such as lead vocalist for Cameron Mackintosh (and National Trust) in the show 'Encore Mr Producer'. 'Grange Hill the Musical', Barnaby in 'Hello Dolly!', Sergeant in 'South Pacific' DJ in 'Frankie and Johnny', Fyedka in 'Fiddler on the Roof', Hitler in 'These Foolish Things' and a role he secretly loved was playing Captain Hook especially with his larger than life personality.  He has been in a number of pantomimes and once played the Dame at Windsor - for a week.   Television credits include 'Children's Royal Variety Show',  'Grange Hill', 'Blue Peter' (BBC) - singing the role of Joseph for Bill Kenwright, Sid in 'Buddha of Suburbia', 'Winning London' and 'The Brain Conley Show'. Commercial for MacDonalds he did a splendid take off of Steve McQueen.  A few years ago Brian played the role of Zebulun, in the West End and UK touring production of 'Joseph', so it's like coming home being back on the show.  Last year (2205) Brian was employed as the lead vocalist for P&O on the Arcadia (Super Liner) performing in a series of shows based on hits of the West End and Broadway he returned to the UK in Christmas 2005.

Chris Wood

Chris Wood, one of the youngest members of 'Joseph', joins the company from a national tour of 'From Barbers Shop to Broadway'.  Chris is the current North East of England Ballroom Champion, and currently UK 3rd Champion.  Previous shows include 'Little Shop of Horrors', 'Gumshoe' and 'Grease'. For Chris, this is the show he dreamed of being part of since he first saw Bill Kenwright's production when he was 10 years old.

Errol Clayton

Errol was born in Edinburgh and trained at the London Studio Centre.  Theatre credits Patroclus in 'Achilles in Heels' (Landor), Ahab in 'Moby Dick the Musical' (Pleasance) and regional tour.  Other theatre credits include 'Hair', 'Guys & Dolls' and 'West Side Story'.  TV credits include Josh in 'The Ward' (ITV), 'Emmerdale'(YTV), 'Break Out' (BBC), Film credits 'Death Defying Acts' directed by Gillian Armstrong.

Ricky Rojas

Born in Santiago, Chile, Ricky emigrated to Australia with his parents at the age of five.
Theatre includes: professional debut in Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story in which he played the hip-swivelling Ritchie Valens (worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Denmark, Ireland, UK tour and a year at the Strand (now Novello) Theatre). Ricky then went on to play Joe Vegas in Fame – The Musical (Aldwych) and Sonny, understudy Kenickie and Danny in Grease (UK tour). Ricky also performed in the inaugural cruise season of the Caribbean Princess, working with American choreographer Eartha Robinson.  Other work includes: Ricky is an accomplished singer/songwriter and regularly performs his own material in London.

Chris Dilley

Chris graduated from the London School of Music Theatre in July 2007.  Theatre whilst training includes Marvel in 'Fabula' at the Cochrane Theatre, King in 'Alice in Wonderland' at the LSMT Studio, company in 'Christmas in New York' at the Apollo Theatre.  Other experience includes trailer for 'The Jerry Springer Show' for Anglia Television.  Chris is delighted to be making his professional debut in 'Joseph'

Stephen Webb

Stephen trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
Theatre credits include: Ren in Footloose (national tour); Glen Guglia in The Wedding Singer (national tour); Ivey/Luther Rosser in Parade (Donmar Warehouse), directed by Rob Ashford; Benny Southstreet/Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls (national tour); Hortensio and cover Bill in Kiss Me, Kate (national tour); Double J/Bobby C and  understudy Tony Manero in Saturday Night Fever (national tour); Carousel (Perth Theatre); and Tony in West Side Story (Avondale Theatre).  Workshop credits include: X (Mercury Musical Developments).  Television and film credits include: The Bill, EastEnders and Kevin and Perry Go Large.

Lachlan Scheuber

After studying Japanese at high school, Lachlan was awarded a Japanese government scholarship to study the language in Sendi, Japan.  Upon returning however, he rekindled his love for singing and performed in a number of Australian productions including 'Les Misérables' (ensemble), 'Oklahoma!' (ensemble and understudy Curly) and 'My Fair Lady' (Freddy Eynsford-Hill).  Since coming to the UK he has worked as lead vocalist for P&O and Princess cruise lines.  He is proud to be appearing in Joseph and would like to thank his wife and two wonderful families for their support and guidance.
