Reuben

Ben Harlow

Ben trained at the National Youth Theatre and Middlesex University graduating with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts in June 1996. On graduating, Ben played Malcolm in 'Macbeth' on a UK tour, culminating at the Duke of York's Theatre in London. He then played the title role in the children's play 'The King of Copenhagen' on a UK schools tour. In July 1998 he sang extracts from 'Hair' with the Royal Pholharmonic Orchestra conducted by Carl Davis. Before 'Joseph' he created the role of Pete in the UK tour of 'Girls Night Out in Ibiza'.

Ben is a keen stand-up comedian playing regularly at the King's Head comedy club. Theatre wrork includes 'The Jungle Book' (National Youth Theatre) and 'Maggie May' (Royalty Theatre). Television work includes Oi! (ITV) and Silent Witness (BBC).

Dean Hurst

Dean was born in the New Forest and began his musical career singing in bands. He changed musical direction and trained at the Birmingham Music Conservatoire, where his roles included Bartolo in 'Marriage of Figaro', Captain in 'Eugenne Onegin' and Diesel in 'West Side Story. He also played Teapot in 'L'Enfant et les Sortileges' in a six month exchange to the Crane School of Music, New York, USA.

He has also sung professionally on cruise ships, and has been backing singer for Chris de Burgh in his last two summer tours.

Dan Greavey

Dan was born in Wokingham, Berkshire in 1976. In early childhood his family moved to the Okneys and then to Aberdeenshire where he grew up. After studying engineerring for two years he came to the connclusion that he was bored with that and decided practically overnight to pursue his of becoming an actor. In 1997 he joined North Cheshire Theatre College where he studied drama and musical theatre for two years. During training Dan has appeared at the London Palladium and Manchester Palace Theatre several times - performing extracts from 'The Rocky Horro Show', 'Les Miserables', 'Blood Brothers', 'Aladdin' and 'Miss Saigon.

Phillip Burrows

Phillip graduated from Hertfordshire Theatre School where he trained for three years in acting and musical theatre. Whilst training he enjoyed an extensive range of roles including Gloucester in 'King Lear', Gerry in 'Dancing at Lughnasa', Jeff Nixon in 'Teechers' and King Charlemange in the musical 'Pippin'. Phillip then went on to tour twice with Image Theatre Company, firstly in 'Tom's Midnight Garden' and second time around as Rochester in 'Jane Eyre', the musical. Following that he worked with Pendle Productions and the Storytellers Theatre Company, both in 'Peter Pan' and 'Cinderella'. Last year (2001) he completed a season in Eastbourne in 'Relatively Speaking' with John Challis and Sue Holderness, followed by a UK tour of 'You're Only Young Twice' with Brian Murphy and Judy Cornwell and the TV series 'Doctors'. At Christmas he appeared as the Emperor in 'Aladdin' at the Solihull Arts Centre'.

Gavin Woods

Gavin started performing at a very early age. When he was 18 he moved to London to train at London School of Musical Theatre. After graduating he toured Germany for six months, playing the role of Tom in 'The Glass Menagerie', and then played Poopdeck in 'Beauty and the Beast' at the Drill Hall in Horsham.

Carl G Hughes

Carl was born in Leeds and has trained in Musical Theatre since the early age 16. Since leaving college Carl has performed in many theatre productions playing various roles including the aprt of Jesus in 'Godspell'(national tour). The Dentisit in 'Little Shop of Horros', Snoopy in 'You're A Good Man Charlie Brown', Matt in 'The Fantasticks' and many more. He is thrilled to be making his West End debut in 'Joseph'

Phillip Coyle

Phillip began his training at the Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts, and the completed his education at Arts Educational Schools, London, where he graduated with honours. College credits include Beff in 'Good News', Rhino in 'Just So', George in 'Spend, Spend, Spend' and Jesus in 'Godspell'. Other credits include 'Cinderella' Pavilion, Rhyl, 'Murderous Instincts' Savoy Theatre and Archie in 'Mother Goose' Roses Theatre, Tewsbury. This is Phillip's first national tour and he is delighted to be a part of such a well established show.

Colin Duncan

Colin trained at Mountview Theatre School, on the full-fee Ralph Richardson Scholarship. Since graduating his work has included Foreman in 'Trial By Jury' (Covent Garden Festival), 'Timewatching' (ATC/Soho Theatre), Rooster in 'Annie' (National Tour), Butler in 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' (UK No 1 tour), Frankie in 'Dragula' (Rosemary Branch), 'Writing Orlando' (Bridewell),

'Countess and Cabbages' (tour), 'The Winged World' (Cambridge Theatre Company), 'Elegies For Angels', 'Punks and Raging Queens' (Mayfest and tour), 'The Late Joys Season' (Players' Theatre), lead singer on Carnival Cruise Lines (Miami). He has also spent three seasons with Holland Park Opera, and performed in two operas, playing character roles and ensemble. Recent television includes the lead role in 'Revenge' (Channel 4/Urban Myths).

Drew Kidger

Drew graduated from Performers Dance College in Summer of 2005, after training in Musical theatre for three years. He has since been working with P&O aboard Pride of Bilboa as a production singer. His Christmas engagement was playing Prince Charming in 'Cinderella' at Epsom Playhouse. Drew's credits include Dancer in 'Aladdin' (Hull New Theatre), Father in 'Children of Eden' (Performers Studio Theatre), McCaffery in 'South Pacific' (Buxton Opera House), Prez in 'The Pajama Game' (Lincoln Theatre Royal). He has been a dancer on BBC's 'Top of the Pops' with artists Blazing Squad and Boogie Pimps, as well as appearing in many corporate events as top venues around London such as the Dorchester and Grosvenor Hotels.

Nathaniel Keane

Training Guildford School of Acting. Theatre credits Soloist in 'Four Unlikely Lovers'(Jermyn Street Theatre), Ensemble in 'Peter Pan' (Theatre Royal, Norwich), understudy Porthos and Rochefort in 'The Three Musketeers'(Rotterdam), Ensemble in 'Musicals in Concert' (national tour, the Netherlands). Other credits Soloist on cruise ship 'Aida Vita', Vocal in 'Musical Award Gala' (Netherlands), Backing vocal for wide range of galas and events. Ghost of Christmas Present in 'Scrooge' (dinner show) and Soloist in 'Winter Wonderland' (dinner show). GSA credits Vittorio Vidal in 'Sweet Charity' (Yvonne Arnaud Theatre), Captain Sanjar in 'The Apple Tree' (Electric Theatre Guildford), Georgio Bachetti in 'Passion', Vince Fontane in 'Grease' Company in 'Happy as a Sandbag'. John Alastair

Training: Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, after 12 years as a professional fire-fighter in Hertfordshire, something he still does on a part-time basis. Theatre includes: Bill in Mamma Mia! (Prince of Wales), Gulliver in Gulliver’s Travels (Sutton Secombe Centre), Giant in Jack and the Beanstalk and Ringmaster in Barnum (Eastbourne Devonshire Park) and Geoffrey Chaucer in Ring Road Tales (Watford Palace). Other plays include Not Loving Susan, Road, You Can’t Take It With You, The Good Doctor and As You Like It. Film and television include: The Best Man and Three Months, a short film for Dutch television, and film projects for HM Revenue and Customs. Other work includes: John is an accomplished close-up magician, a children’s entertainer and runs an electronic media design company.

Dean Read

Dean was born and raised in Pontypool, South Wales and trained in musical theatre at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Since graduating, Dean has worked two contracts for Cruising Musicals Consortium onboard P&O Oriana and Aurora. he played a variety of roles including Danny in 'Grease', Elvis in 'Elvis - the Musical', Jack Chesney in 'Charley's Aunt' and an ugly sister in 'Cinderella'. Other pantomime experiences includes Prince Charming in 'Cinderella' and the Beast in' Beauty and the Beast', both for Paul Holman Associates. Dean most recently devised and created the role of Theo Hunter in 'Houdini - the Musical' which toured the UK. Dean is looking forward to the challenge of performing in 'Joseph'

Stephen John Davis

Stephen was born in Watford, Hertfordshire. Theatre includes: most recently, Bishop of Digne/ Combeferre and understudy/performed Jean Valjean and Javert in Les Misérables (Queen’s), Le Fevre and Don Atillio and understudy/performed Firmin, Joseph Buqu et and Auctioneer in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s), The Preacher in Viol et (Young Vic New Directors Project) and Hughie Pierrepointin Our Miss Gibbs (Finborough). Opera and operetta include: for D’Oyly Carte Opera, Sir Joseph Porter in HMS Pinafore (UK tour), Major General and Samuel in The Pirates of Penzance (Savoy), Boatswain in HMS Pinafore (Savoy and Shubert Theatre, New Haven, CT, USA) and Pavlovitch in The Count of Luxembourg (UK tour). Also, Pish-Tush in The Mikado (Carl Rosa, UK and Eire tour), Strephon in Iolanthe (Buxton Festival), Mas et to in Don Giovanni (Holland Park), Prince Yamodori in Madam Butterfly (Queen Elizab et h Hall) and he created the role of Alris in The Golden Penguin by Alla Sirenko (world premiere, Ukrainian State Opera, Lviv, Ukraine, and Covent Garden Linbury). Film includes: the Auctioneer in the documentary Behind the Mask – The Making of The Phantom of the Opera for the DVD of the Phantom movie. Recordings include: Pasquale in The Most Happy Fella, The Boatswain in HMS Pinafore, Galjour in Wonderful Town and the Bishop of Digne for the 21st anniversary concert of Les Misérables ( BBC Radio 2).

Jonathan Alden

Originally from Berkeley, Gloucestershire, Jonathan trained at the Guildford School of Acting and gained a 2:1 BA Hons in Musical Theatre. While training, his credits included: Rev. Billy Hightower in Batboy (Yvonne Arnaud), Original cast Joey Finklestein in Daydream Believer (Belliars Playhouse), Ben Weatherstaff in The Secret Garden (Electric Theatre), and Baldy in A Man of No Importance (Belliars Playhouse). He was also selected as a soloist in the 2007 Jason Robert Brown London Masterclass. Theatre includes: Dave Buckatinsky in The Full Monty (Gordon Craig Theatre), Lt Ward in Annie (Gordon Craig Theatre), Sultan/Fitzwarren/Cpt Seaweed in Dick Whittington (T.I.E Tour), Sweeney in Sweeney Todd (Surrey Tour).

Gianni Onori

Gianni trained at the GAMTA (Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts) and graduated in June 2007. Whilst in training his credits include ensemble in 'Sweeny Todd', male swing in 'Cinderella', lead vocalist in 'Walk on Broadway' in which he featured as the Beast in 'Beauty and the Beast', Herr Schultz in 'Cabaret'. Abanazar in 'Aladdin', lead vocalist in 'Good and Evil' Greylag in 'Honk!' and King Charles in Stephen Schwartz's 'Pippin'. In 2007 & 2008 Gianni played the part of Dan in the UK Tour of Joseph.

Marc Akinfolarin

Trained at the Arts Educational Schools London. Marc is thrilled to be making his professional debut with this tour of joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

During his time at Arts Ed Marc played the roles of the Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance, the body ofTony Hendon in Lucky Stiff, Eddie Mackrel in Michael John LaChuissa's Wild Party and the Captain in Anything Goes. Marc also appeared at the Scoop's summer season of free theatre in 2008. He played the Preacher in children's musical Petit Rouge and ensemble and other roles in Lorca's Blood Wedding. Marc would like to take this opportunity to thank all of his family and friends, teachers and mentors for their constant support. Finally he would like to thank God for answering his prayers in his successes in life.

Will Tyler

Will graduated with Arts Educational - BA (hons) in Musical Theatre. His credits include 'Dick Whittington' (Camberley Theatre). Credits whilst training include Fred/John in 'Anything Goes', Chad Danforth in 'High School Musical', Lorry Driver/Croupier in 'Lucky Stuff', ensemble/Roy in 'A Chorus Line', Godfried in 'The Gypsy King', Magaldi in 'Evita', Jury Member in 'Trial by Jury', Dave in 'Summer Begins', dancer/ensemble in 'Blood Wedding' and featured soloist/ensemble in 'The World Goes Round'. Will would like to thank his girlfriend, family and friends for their love and support.
